Privacy notice for job and internship applicants

Who we are
PlotFarms ("we") decides why and how your application details are used. Contact us at careers@plotfarms.com for anything in this notice.
What we collect
- Your email address, and a password you choose (we never see the password itself; it is stored in scrambled form).
- Your name, mobile number, WhatsApp number if different, city and state.
- Your education, skills, experience, interests, links you share, and an optional resume (PDF).
- Your availability, languages, how and when you prefer us to contact you, and an optional short note.
- The time you agreed to this notice.
- Notes and messages our recruiters write about your application, and the status of your application.
We do not ask for Aadhaar, PAN, bank details, date of birth, caste, religion or a photo when you apply. If we make you an offer, we may ask for identity documents at that stage.
Why we use it
- To assess your application and contact you by email, phone or WhatsApp about internships, trainee programmes and jobs.
- To show you the status of your application and messages from our team.
- To understand which channels bring us applicants (only if you tell us).
Who can see it
Only authorised PlotFarms recruiters and administrators. Messages marked "visible to candidate" are shown to you on your status page. Internal recruiter notes are never shown to you or to other applicants. Our service providers process data for us only to run this page: our database and login provider (Supabase) and our email provider.
How long we keep it
We keep applications for up to 12 months after the intake closes, unless you are hired (then the normal employment records apply) or you ask us to delete it sooner.
Your choices
- Sign in and use Delete my data at any time to delete your application, resume and login immediately.
- While an intake is open you can change your answers. After it closes, email us to correct anything.
- You can ask to see the details we hold about you, or to withdraw your consent, by writing to careers@plotfarms.com.
Safety notice
PlotFarms never charges any fee for an internship, training or job. If anyone asks you for money in our name, do not pay and tell us.
