Summary: ArogyaMitra does not collect personal information. No account, no sign-up, no tracking. Your safety-gate answers stay on your device and are never transmitted.
1. Who We Are
ArogyaMitra ("the App") is developed and operated by Plotfarms, based in India. For privacy queries, contact us at info@plotfarms.com.
2. Data We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit:
- Your name, email address, phone number, or any personal identifier
- Your location
- Your answers to safety questions (age group, pregnancy, medicines) — these are used only within the current session to filter remedy suggestions and are discarded when you close or restart the App
- Your browsing or usage history
- Device identifiers beyond what Google AdMob may collect (see Section 4)
No account or sign-in is required to use the App.
3. Data Stored on Your Device Only
The App stores the following locally on your device. This data never leaves your device:
- Your preferences — selected language, country, and text size
- Sync timestamp — the time of the last content update check (used to limit network requests to once per 24 hours)
- Remedy content database — a local copy of remedies and safety content for offline use
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App displays banner advertisements served by Google AdMob. Google may collect device advertising identifiers and usage data to serve and measure ads. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time via:
- Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation
5. Content Synchronisation
Once per 24 hours the App checks our servers (hosted on Supabase / AWS) to see whether updated remedy content is available. During this check, only a version number is compared — no personal data is transmitted. If an update exists, remedy text is downloaded anonymously.
6. Children
The App does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The content is rated "Everyone." If you believe your child has provided us personal information, please contact info@plotfarms.com and we will investigate.
7. Medical Disclaimer
ArogyaMitra shares traditional home remedies that may help with minor, everyday symptoms. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure any disease and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. If symptoms are severe, unusual, or do not improve, please consult a doctor. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the date of the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
