Summary: Voice Camera has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no internet permission. Your videos and photos stay on your phone and the App never sends them anywhere on its own. The only time anything leaves your phone is when you tap Upload and choose another app to share with.
1. Who We Are
Voice Camera ("the App", Android package com.plotfarms.voicecamera) is developed and operated by Plotfarms, based in India. For privacy queries, contact us at info@plotfarms.com.
2. What the App Can Access, and Why
- Camera — to show the viewfinder and to record videos and take photos when you ask.
- Microphone — to record sound with your videos, and to listen for your voice commands (for example "record video after 5 seconds").
The App does not ask for your location, contacts, calendar, phone, call log, messages or files. It saves your recordings using Android's standard media storage, so no storage permission is needed.
3. Your Videos and Photos
- Videos are saved to Movies/VoiceCamera and photos to Pictures/VoiceCamera on your phone, where your Gallery app can show them.
- We do not receive, copy, upload or look at them. The App has no server and no internet permission, so it cannot send them.
- The Trim feature works on your phone and saves the trimmed video as a new file next to the original.
- You can delete any of them inside the App or from your Gallery at any time. The App keeps no other copy.
4. Voice Commands
Voice commands use Android's built-in speech recognition service, which is provided by your phone's manufacturer or Google and is part of your phone, not of this App. While voice control is on, the App asks that service to listen and give back the words it heard. Depending on your phone and settings, that service may process your voice on the device or send it to its provider's servers. That processing is governed by the provider's own privacy policy (for Google, see Google's Privacy Policy).
Voice Camera itself does not record or keep your voice for this purpose, does not store what you said, and does not send it anywhere. It uses the recognised words only to understand a command and shows them briefly on the screen.
Voice control listens only while the camera screen is open. It pauses while a video is recording and stops when you leave the App. You can switch it off at any time with the microphone icon.
5. Data Stored on Your Device Only
The App keeps a few small settings on your phone, and they never leave it:
- Your defaults — the usual wait before starting and the usual recording length
- Your hearts — which of your takes you marked as favourites
These settings are removed if you uninstall the App. Your videos and photos are not removed by uninstalling.
6. Sharing
We do not sell or share your information, because we do not collect it. When you tap Upload, the App opens Android's share sheet. If you pick an app there (for example WhatsApp, Drive or YouTube), that video or photo is handed to that app and is then handled under its privacy policy. Nothing is shared unless you choose to.
7. Ads, Analytics and Tracking
None. The App has no advertising, no analytics, no crash-reporting service and no third-party tracking code.
8. Children
The App is a general-purpose camera and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included. If you have a concern, contact info@plotfarms.com.
9. Security
Because your recordings stay on your phone, they are as safe as your phone is. Use a screen lock, and be careful which apps you share them with.
10. Your Choices
- Turn voice control off with the microphone icon, or remove the Camera or Microphone permission in Android Settings → Apps → Voice Camera → Permissions.
- Delete any video or photo in the App or the Gallery.
- Uninstall the App to remove its settings.
11. Changes to This Policy
If the App changes in a way that affects your privacy, we will update this page and the effective date at the top before the change is released.
